Easter weekend in Provincetown was sublime. The food was exquisite and the company delightful. The weather was also really, really good. It was brisk but warmed up well as we walked through the beech forest and up and down sand dunes and around the pond (where John could uncannily spot a turtle sunbathing on a rock from an unfathomable distance). I took a nap on the beach while the waves crashed nearby, and emptied what seemed like gallons of sand from my shoes. In the evenings both fireplaces were roaring and we ate fine foods and played parlor games. The Armenian food for the Easter noontime meal was especially good, and Stiggy was right to purchase so many eggs to dye, because our dying party was really a blast. The only down side was that Sprout and the other dog of the weekend, Gidget, were not extraordinary friends, and they got into it a few times. Sprout's not much of a troublemaker usually, but she sure doesn't know how to extend the olive branch, either. Here are a few photo highlights and a comic I drew to commemorate one of our grand walks (dog fight excluded from the drawing...let's remember the happy times).

Love it! So, when we move to Armenia will you come there and sample the Armenian food?

Yes, I'm really looking forward to the food and to the museums! And to all the ancient things to see! I'd better start saving now. =)
