Spring break cuisine

For the past two weeks, the kids I teach were on spring break. Having the extra time to work on my own work and enjoy the spring weather was awesome. I even did a little bit of cooking, which is quite a rarity around here. I made a pretty good pizza, homemade salsa for huevos rancheros, a vaguely middle eastern spread, and soft pretzels.

Yummy! Is that falafel I spy? I love falafel.

Guess what? I'm coming for a visit at the beginning of June. I hope you will be around, because I want to see you so bad!
