Casual Museuming

In London I had the opportunity to take in the views at quite a few cultural institutions. There was a quick run through the Tate Modern (very quick, really) and a chance to see the wonderful Muybridge exhibition at the Tate Britian. Here are a few scenes from the V & A.

And these two ladies. I complimented their hairstyles and they nodded approvingly at mine.

One of the highlights of the trip was The Hunterian Museum at the Royal College of Surgeons of England. I'd read about it and seen it around, but had never visited. It's got a lot of really amazing historical specimens of things like embryonic crocodiles in all stages, and a fascinating display of plastic surgery practice in the First World War.
