Chains in small boxes

A cabinet of [crocheted] curiosities, on SuperNaturale.
Not only are each of these specimens wonderful to look at in isolation, together, they for a really nice classificatory system. Although I don't crochet (I could never figure out to hook back to form the second row), I appreciate these, since it seems like having a real, tactile example when working is of great benefit. As I've sallied forth with my crude, rudimentary sewing projects, I've been somewhat befuddled by the many diagrams and schematics meant to illustrate next steps. I often wish that I had a finished product in front of me that I could de-construct, step by step.
