Imagination Lashings

Went hiking a few days ago with some friends. And by "hiking," I mean "walking for about 15 minutes, reaching a lackluster destination, and returning to the car." It was still a lot of fun. There were numerous poison oak leaves waving menacingly along the trail, and we were bound for a hot spring, that looked more like a stagnant fly-hole when we got to it. The water was a pretty color, though. Good activity for a slow but steady transition from the east coast to the west. It's somewhat ironic that I always come back to California to work, work, work, rather than for a beach vacation.
